How We Work

We think strategically… Client goals are always trump. Everything we do — designing communications strategy and then carrying out required tactics — is designed to help you win. Not by any cookie-cutter approach to PR. Not by the fads of the day. But by what you, the client, seek as a business outcome. So we don’t just kick up dust carrying out media relations activities. Skill in that arena is necessary but not sufficient. Often the biggest wins are the ones no one hears about. We make sure that the tactics we carry out reflect your bigger-picture business strategy.

…and we’ve got the tactical chops. Once the client and its full team have settled on a communications strategy, EMA has the experience and know-how to carry out the tactics that are needed to meet the strategic goals. That means writing thoughtful releases, getting them to the right journalists, rolling phone calls to personalize the pitch, arranging interviews, prepping the client for them, and even setting up editorial board meetings. It also means reaching beyond traditional media and working with social influencers like bloggers, tweeters and online advocates who shape opinion.
