Eric Mower and Associates has been named agency of record for Sun Chemical, the world’s largest producer of printing inks and pigments, and will be charged with leading Sun Chemical’s brand development, strategic planning, advertising, marketing communications and public relations. EMA has been Sun Chemical’s public relations AOR since 2007.
“EMA understands our business and our industry; they’re strong collaborators and counselors. As we continue to reposition our global brand, it makes sense for us to expand our relationship with EMA to help us communicate the important changes in our company,” said Felipe Mellado, Sun Chemical’s Chief Marketing Officer.
Sun Chemical is transforming its global brand from a product-centric supplier to an innovative, solutions-driven partner that delivers knowledge and expertise as well as high-quality inks, coatings and pigments. EMA is creating integrated communications programs—including print and online ads, brochures, presentations and videos—to support the launch of the new brand. EMA will continue to manage PR projects such as media and channel relations, material development and pitching, and tradeshow support.
This account win marks an expansion in EMA’s client experience in the graphic arts industry and its key segments: packaging, publications, commercial printing, digital and industrial/screen printing. EMA also works with Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group and Domtar Paper.
