EMA Launches Hungry Pup Studio

Eric Mower + Associates has launched Hungry Pup Studio, a new express design studio for clients who need high-volume production work produced quickly and cost-effectively, without strategic planning or creative concepts. 

Hungry Pup Studio offers a full suite of capabilities, including: digital production (HTML emails, banner ads, landing pages, e-newsletters), traditional production (print/outdoor ads, collateral, tradeshow graphics, point-of-sale, white papers, direct mail) and asset management (digital, media, image purchasing/retouching). Competitive, flat rates vary by project. 

“The difference Hungry Pup offers compared to our graphic studio department is that the client is in control by supplying the content, brand guidelines and/or templates. Our job is simply to execute. It’s an appealing option for those who want to increase marketing efficiency without sacrificing quality,” said Joe DiVirgilio, director of client services for Hungry Pup Studio.

Hungry Pup Studio uses a web-based workflow system that streamlines project implementation, process and accuracy. Online content submission, electronic file review, and final file e-delivery enable clients to easily access the studio at their convenience.

Based in EMA’s Syracuse office, Hungry Pup Studio serves clients across the agency’s seven locations. Leading this new initiative with DiVirgilio are Director of Operations Valerie Hill and Senior Marketing Services Manager Matt Read. EMA will add more staff as the practice grows.

EMA’s Hungry Pup Studios has worked with client brands such has Key Bank, Syracuse University, Domtar Paper, AmWINS and Galson Laboratories. For each introductory meeting that takes place between now and July 31, 2013, EMA will help feed a hungry pup with a $50 donation to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

“We created Hungry Pup Studio to address trends we’re seeing in the industry, including client budget pressures and increased involvement from marketing procurement,” said Chris Steenstra, managing partner of EMA Syracuse. “For many clients, ongoing campaign execution represents an even higher volume of work than the initial campaign development. We’ve designed an efficient service just for that kind of production work, and we hope clients let us take it off of their plates.”
