Eric Mower + Associates has been named an Agency of the Year in the 2012 Bulldog Stars of PR Awards. The annual awards competition from industry publisher Bulldog Reporter recognizes public relations firms that display breakthrough thinking, initiatives and qualities. EMA earned a silver award in the midsize agency category ($10 million to $20 million in revenue).
“We’re proud of our clients and the great work our team does for them,” said EMA Managing Partner Greg Loh, APR, who heads the agency’s PR + PA Group. “Our commitment to collaboration across our seven offices helps us attract an exceptionally strong team of professionals, grow our firm, build category expertise, and create success for our clients.”
Agencies in the Stars of PR Awards competition are required to submit a comprehensive application that details client account retention; employee retention and relations (including remarkable HR practices); new business and organic growth; industry achievements; and PR income. The awards are judged by journalists, who evaluate agencies on leadership, integrity and extraordinary achievement.
EMA, an independent digitally integrated marketing communications firm, has a $10.1-million Public Relations + Public Affairs group that comprises more than 50 team members. EMA’s PR + PA team is well-balanced in both consumer and business-to-business PR, and has specialized expertise in public affairs, crisis and reputation management, executive training and cause-related marketing. EMA also has extensive experience in developing and managing PR campaigns with strong social media and digital strategies.
EMA has earned numerous awards and recognition from industry organizations and publications for its PR + PA practice, as well as work for clients including North American Breweries, Domtar Paper, Legrand/Pass & Seymour, Kodak Graphic Communications and LENOX. EMA is also a two-time finalist for a PRWeek “PR Agency of the Year” Award.
Earlier this year, EMA was named the #5 Best Place to Work in Marketing and Media in 2012 by Advertising Age magazine. The annual list features 40 of the country’s best agencies whose benefits and culture create environments for employees to thrive.
