Greg Loh, managing partner of Public Relations + Public Affairs at Eric Mower + Associates, will lead the workshop “Succeeding in the Post-Publicity Era” at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) 2012 Northeast District Conference on Nov. 8 in Troy, N.Y.
The decline of the printed newspaper and shrinkage of broadcast media have signaled the arrival of a new period in the public relations industry. In his workshop, Loh will examine the tools and techniques required for organizations and practitioners to be successful, which he describes as the four corners of digitally powered PR: communities, content, channels, and metrics. His blog, Digitally Powered PR, examines how digital technology is transforming communications.
Loh leads EMA’s Public Relations + Public Affairs group, working with a team of more than 50 professionals across the agency’s seven offices. He has more than 20 years’ experience in crisis communications, issues management, media training, social media, public affairs and community relations. He has won numerous industry awards and is frequently tapped as a guest speaker.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Loh is a member of the PRSA and president of the Northeast Public Relations Partnership. He is Accredited in Public Relations from the PRSA, the industry’s only nationally recognized mark of distinction.
