EMA’s Doug Bean to Speak at Strategic Performance & Change Management Conference

Doug Bean, chief operating officer at Eric Mower + Associates, will lead a session and participate in a panel discussion at the Strategic Performance & Change Management Conference on Wednesday, Nov. 14, in New Orleans, LA.

During the session “Holistic Change Management: Enabling a company to effectively change,” Bean will present a four-step process that companies can implement to create better opportunities for success. Bean will also join a four-member panel discussion titled “Management & Employee Buy-in: The basis for project success and effective management.” Panelists will discuss steps to becoming an effective manager and ways to transform your organization into a high performance culture.

Also presenting at the conference are senior-level executives from NASA, SunTrust, Deloitte and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Bean joined EMA in 1990. He was named managing partner and leader of the agency’s Buffalo office in 1993. Promoted to chief operating officer in 2011, Bean is responsible for driving value to clients and creating growth across the agency’s seven offices.

Bean earned his MBA from the University of Buffalo, a master’s in liberal studies from Dartmouth College, and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s in English from Kenyon College.
