EMA Takes Home Two District ADDY Awards, Proceeds to National Competition

Integrated marketing communications agency Eric Mower and Associates (EMA), was recently honored at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Fourth District ADDY® Awards.

At the May 1 district event held in Tampa, Fla., EMA’s All Faiths Food Bank TV public service announcement (PSA) picked up a Gold ADDY while the All Faiths Food Bank “Waitress” print advertisement received Silver. Watch the video here. Gold winners from the district competition proceed to the national finals, which will be held June 12 in Orlando, Fla.

To qualify for the district awards, entrants must win at their local AAF chapter’s competition.

Earlier this year at the AAF – Suncoast chapter’s competition, EMA won nine Gold ADDY Awards and one Silver ADDY for the agency’s work on ClosetMaid and All Faiths Food Bank, along with two AMY awards for the ClosetMaid 2009 press kit and the advertising campaign created for ClosetMaid’s dealers. EMA was also recognized with the Judge’s Choice – Best of Electronic award for the All Faiths Food Bank TV PSA and the People’s Choice award for the All Faiths Food Bank “Waitress” print ad.

With more than 60,000 entries received annually, the ADDY Awards is the largest and most comprehensive creative competition in the industry and the only major national creative competition with rigorous judging at the local, regional and national levels. All forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from all over the world are recognized for their creative excellence.
