Marketing guru Seth Godin will discuss Western New York’s role in the “connection economy” at an April 4 talk hosted by the Advertising Club of Buffalo and presented by Eric Mower + Associates. A Buffalo, N.Y.-native, Godin will speak about the transformation of traditional business models and the opportunity that lies ahead for the city.
“Buffalo has the chance to leap from being a leader of the industrial age to a similar standing in the connection one that we’re now living in. The doors are open, but we have to choose to step forward,” said Godin.
Nearly 200 marketing and business professionals are expected to attend the event, which sold out in less than a week, at Burchfield Penney Art Center.
“Partnering with the Ad Club to bring such a notable marketing professional to Western New York is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” said Sandy Gingerich, senior partner at EMA. “The local advertising community is buzzing with excitement, and EMA is thrilled to play a role in energizing our industry through the brilliance of Seth’s thinking and vision for Buffalo.”
