Eric Mower and Associates (EMA) recently named Rob Neiler to partner in charge of in-store marketing for the agency’s seven east coast offices.
In his new role, Neiler will use his deep retail experience to help clients develop their in-store marketing programs and grow their relationships with retailers. EMA has a nationally-recognized Brand Promotion Practice and Neiler will provide strategic leadership to the group while acting as a resource to multiple offices and clients.
Filling the role of creative director, EMA drafted Richard Skiermont, partner, who previously headed creative in the company’s Albany office. Skiermont will now oversee Buffalo’s creative department, providing leadership to account planning and creative teams. He brings 25 years of experience with clients such as Kodak, I Love New York, New York State Canal Corporation, Troy-Bilt, SunTrust Banks, Inc., and Primrose Schools.

While in Albany, Skiermont also provided creative services across EMA’s seven offices and is credited with seamlessly integrating creative with other practice groups such as public affairs. Over the years, Skiermont has received dozens of national and regional awards for his work. He received his associate’s degree from the Arts Institute in Colorado and is a member of the Albany Ad Club.
Neiler has been instrumental in the success of EMA’s Brand Promotion Practice. Combining his passion and experience in the areas of in-store marketing, visual merchandising, and point-of-purchase, he is an active member of the In-Store Marketing Institute and the American Association of Advertising Agencies. A resident of Tonawanda, N.Y., Neiler received a bachelor’s of arts degree in advertising design from Buffalo State College.
